Company Profile

Welcome to Spaceit, your dedicated space tech partner, pioneering software for mission control, and ground station services. At Spaceit, we bring you “Mission Control as a Service”, an all-in-one solution for seamless satellite operations.

Space solutions do not need to be complicated and costly. Gone are the days when satellite missions required large engineering teams. Spaceit makes access to space affordable by combining efficient resource use, an extensive ground station network, and a flexible pay-as-you-go pricing model. Our platform ensures every satellite mission benefits from low latency, high reliability, and strong security

Through our platform, ground stations gain access to an open marketplace, transforming radio communication into a commoditised service.

Our Journey So Far

Spaceit is a proud spin-off of ESTCube-1 – Estonia’s first satellite mission and a global pioneer in testing the electric solar wind sail (E-sail). Today, the company works closely with the European Space Agency (ESA) and international partners to strengthen Europe’s space infrastructure and advance secure satellite operations.

Spaceit’s recent developments highlight this progress. One of the highlights is the Space Cyber Range, one of Europe’s first dedicated training and testing environments for space cybersecurity. Spaceit also plays a key role in OPS-SAT ORIOLE — Estonia’s first industry-led optical communication and thermal imaging satellite mission.

Join us as we continue to expand the frontiers of space technology.

Strengthening Space Cyber Defense

  • Spaceit leads the ESA’s 4S Space Cyber Range project, a new training and testing environment for space cybersecurity. The project helps test, validate, and improve the security of space systems through realistic simulations and exercises. The Consortium includes Spaceit, CybExer Technologies, CGI Eesti, CR14 and the University of Tartu.
  • Spaceit and its partners in the Space Cyber Range Consortium are recognised as the Defense Industry Company of the Year 2025 by the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association
  • Participates in NATO CCDCOE Locked Shields 2025, supporting the space domain with satellite operations simulators.

Estonia’s First Industry-Led Optical Communication Satellite

  • Spaceit supports the OPS-SAT ORIOLE mission, Estonia’s first industry-led optical communication and thermal imaging satellite, developed in partnership with C3S Electronics Development LLC (Hungary, prime) and Golbriak Space OÜ (Estonia) under the European Space Agency’s ARTES programme. The mission will demonstrate advanced optical communication and thermal-infrared imaging technologies on a 16-unit CubeSat platform, using Spaceit’s Mission Control System for operations and ground station integration.
  • Participates in NATO CCDCOE Locked Shields 2024, supporting the space domain with satellite operations simulators.

Expanding Capabilities and Innovations

  • Spaceit supports its first commercial satellite mission with its mission control software.
  • Leads a consortium including CybExer Technologies, CGI Estonia, and CR14 to develop a concept study for a space cyber range. This comprehensive virtual environment aims to test, validate, and certify various space assets and processes, conduct cybersecurity training and exercises, and facilitate industry knowledge sharing and networking. More info.
  • Integrates its mission control software with an additional two ground station networks, bringing the total to six.
  • Participates in NATO CCDCOE Locked Shields 2023, supporting the space domain with satellite operations simulators. More info.

Growing and Innovating

  • Signed an agreement with Rhea System SA to develop the new Cyber-Security Operations Centre (C-SOC) for the ESA as part of a consortium of 19 companies led by Leonardo. More info.
  • Expand the Spaceit family to 14 members and establish offices in Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia.
  • Participates in NATO CCDCOE Locked Shields 2022, supporting the space domain with satellite operations simulators.
  • Integrates its mission control software with four ground station networks.
